Manuel Antonio beach is one of the few places in Costa Rica where unspoiled forest grows right to the beach. There are several trails through the forest offering sightings of white-faced monkeys, spider monkeys, sloths and birds of many colors. Visitors can relax on an elegant beach among the orchids and watch the parrots fly over as the monkeys hop from tree to tree.

Precipitation:	Average 3800 mm, June to November are the months with major precipitation and december to may are the ones of less precipitations.
Importance:	It is one of the regions with great scenic beauty. One very attractive aspect is the tropical forest very humid where you can find diversity of flora and fauna.
Flora and Fauna:	It is an area where there is a great community of plants and animals, with a good interaction between them and their environment. Fauna is diverse, but mammalias and birds are very special.
